1. Did you know – that there will be no printed Roster from the District this year? All club and district information is now maintained online saving approximately $18,000 a year in printing costs that can now go into programs. In most cases, your same ID for the Long Beach Rotary website at http://rotarylongbeach.org will work for the District 5320 database at http://roster.rotary5320.org. Look for an email with your ID and password at the district level this coming week then change the password to the one you use for Long Beach and you can change or modify your profile District wide.

2. Did you know – that the website produces two kinds of member communications. If you chair a committee, you can schedule and track your committee meetings and use an invite function to automatically. Once you setup your committee you can migrate all your committee contacts forward to the next meeting, send an agenda, and track responses through the website.

3. Did you know – that meetings and events are now maintained for a full quarter in advance? Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and choose > Meetings > Upcoming Events from the top bar navigation. Without logging in you can see all open events one quarter in advance. Once logged in you can see committee meetings and member only activities. You can sort these events by month or chose them from the calendar one at a time.

4. Did you know – you can get up to the minute updates from Rotary International in our own website? Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and under > About > Rotary International News you will find an syndicated feed from RI.

5. Did you know – you can download a version of the Long Beach Rotary roster to your mobile device? Go to http://longbeachrotary.org/member/roster.aspx login and download the pdf referenced at the top of the page then save it to a location of choice on your mobile device.

6. Did you know – you can make reservations for events through our website? Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and events that require or recommend a reservation have a reservations tab. If not logged in you can type in your information but once logged in your information is automatically propagated to your reservations form. You can add your guests in advance so they will have name tags when they arrive.

7. Did you know – every wonder what happened at the 5 Avenue or other event you missed. Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and choose > Media > Photo Gallery for pictures taken at that last event. Want to take a video tour the choose > Media > Video to see our Video Gallery or choose > Media > Audio to hear podcasts and lectures and don’t forget the Rotarygram Archives and our press releases.

8. Did you know – that Rotary 101 has its own section in our website? Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and choose > Rotary 101 to see the latest news and events from this popular program.

9. Did you know – ever need to find out who runs that favorite committee this year? Go to http://rotarylongbeach.org and choose > Member and you will see our leadership for this current year. You must log in to use this feature so look at the last entry and you will see > My Profile where you can modify ALL of your contact data and make sure others can reach you.
