ROTARY FOUNDATION (January 28, 2009) What an ex cit ing day to be a Rotarian with the news that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foun da tion has pledged an ad di tional $255 mil lion (to their orig i - nal $100 mil lion) for the Ro tary Foun da tion’s Po lio Erad i ca tion pro gram. This now in creases Ro tary’s chal lenge to match $200 mil lion of this, in the next three years, which will en - sure that more than half a bil lion will be raised to end Po lio now! Any do na tion made to the Ro tary Foun - da tion may be ear marked for Po lio Erad i ca tion and can also count to ward a Paul Har ris Fel low.
