Endorsement by Past District Governor 

Dear Rotarians of District 5320,

As Rotarians, we work hard to support membership growth, increase member retention and develop activities that motivate our members to become more involved. Understanding and being aware of Rotary, its history, its activities and its successes, help in many ways to achieve these goals.

I want to congratulate the Rotary Club of Long Beach on developing a unique program that supports these objectives. Rotary 101 provides a curriculum to help Rotarians learn more about Rotary’s history and it operations. It also allows clubs to adapt the program to include their own club history and culture. I have observed the program in person and how successful it has been in helping Long Beach expans it member’s involvement and increase membership retention.

They have packaged all of the materials so that clubs, both large and small, can use this tool to help achieve these goals. The program allows Rotarians in each club to become more knowledgeable and more committed. I urge each club board to seriously consider implementing this program in your club’s agenda.
